ICONIC HOLES

Iconic Holes of Augusta National

12th Hole - Golden Bell
12

Golden Bell

This iconic par-3 is Augusta's shortest hole but among its most treacherous. Swirling winds make club selection difficult, and Rae's Creek in front of the shallow green has claimed many championship hopes, including Jordan Spieth's in 2016.

Par 3|155 yards
13th Hole - Azalea
13

Azalea

This beautiful but challenging par-5 doglegs left around Rae's Creek. Players must decide whether to go for the green in two over the creek or lay up for a precise wedge approach. The green is surrounded by colorful azaleas in April.

16th Hole - Redbud

Redbud

This par-3 features a large pond with the green positioned across the water. The famous Sunday pin placement allows players to use the slope to feed balls toward the hole, leading to dramatic moments like Tiger Woods' chip-in in 2005.

Par 3|170 yards
18th Hole - Holly
18

Holly

This uphill par-4 demands a precise drive through a narrow chute of trees. The second shot to an elevated green is equally challenging, guarded by bunkers. Countless Masters championships have been decided on this historic finishing hole.
